The worst thing that can happen to a mother has happened to Tanja K. Her daughter was murdered. How does she continue to live after this crime? How does she encourage other people? What does she have to tell us?
The film portrays Tanja K. and shows how she manages to carry on after this crime. It is a reminder of Orange Day - the UN day of remembrance for violence against women, which is celebrated every year on 25 November.
Tanja K.'s story shows that there are still far too many people in Germany and around the world who suffer the consequences of femicide - and are still fighting for their lives today. But the film also shows that many of these people are strong like Tanja K. - and are not prepared to be forced into a victim role any longer...
